The City Guide offers compact and up-to-date information on all sights, the best service tips for eating and drinking, shopping and nightlife.

It furthermore contains a detailled, separate, fold-out city map with a street index and a public transport map. The described Vista Points are highlighted with a red star on the map.

Schmidt-Brümmer, Horst Dr.

Horst Schmidt-Brümmer, Dr. phil., geboren in Köln, Germanist und Anglist, wirkte als Dozent für deutsche Literatur an der Universität von Kalifornien in Los Angeles und war 30 Jahre als Verleger und Reisejournalist in Köln tätig. Neben Veröffentlichungen über Themen der amerikanischen Alltagskultur recherchierte und publizierte er zahlreiche Bildbände und Reiseführer durch Regionen der USA - u.a. über Kalifornien und den Südwesten, Texas, die Mittleren Atlantikstaaten, die Route 66 und die Südstaaten.
